Your role will be to:
Set up and operate surface grinding machines to shape and finish metal parts. Adjust machine settings and grinding wheels to make parts the correct size and smooth finish. Read blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to make quality parts. Measure and inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools to ensure accuracy. Follow all quality control, work place safety, and production standards. Work with steel, carbide, and specialty materials to produce finished components. At Fives Landis Corp, and under the direction of the Production Supervisor, you will join the Cutting Tools team.

We are seeking someone with a minimum of: High School Diploma 1 year of manufacturing experience, previous machinist or tooling experience preferred Strong shop math capabilities to calculate dimensions & tolerance. Familiarity with reading Geometric Dimensioning and tolerancing. Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and other documents.
