Job Description
Precision Grinding Technician - Operator Description Ultra Tech Machinery is a well-established manufacturing process solution provider that is a part of the HEH group of companies (theHEHGroup.com). Ultra Tech supplies a variety of world-class solutions to a diverse customer base. Core business divisions include custom machines, equipment re-manufacturing, and total process solutions (including highly automated systems). We have an immediate need for an additional Precision Grinding Technician / Operator to work in our internal machining department. Operations are in a modern, clean, climate controlled facility. The Applicants must possess a minimum of 5 years' hands-on experience completing the following tasks related to ID / OD, and surface grinding machinery (mostly conventional machines, but a few CNC): Setting up, operating, and adjusting grinding machinery to produce various components with close tolerance / finish requirements. Inspecting the components being processed. Ability to set-up precision inspection equipment, including snap and bore gages. Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings including GD&T. Ability to assist assembly technicians as required customer specifications Applicant may be needed to work overtime to ensure customer project timing Comply with the company safety procedures Ensure internal standards are maintained
