Position Description:

An EDM operator is needed to operate the sinker/wire EDM machines. This is a 1st shift position, Monday - Thursday 5:30 am - 4:00 pm.

Essential Responsibilities:

Change and set electrodes Read micrometers, calipers, indicators, and comparator Read blueprints Identify visual defects Use and check various fixtures Identify alarm codes Start and stop machine Identify and correct machine operational problems Know and understand the

9100 and Nadcap procedures and requirements Perform daily maintenance using a checklist Verify settings for special process approvals Communicate any questions and verify completeness and accuracy Understand, use, and follow work instructions

Qualifications:

High School Diploma/GED Sinker EDM experience; preferred Machining experience a plus Strong Mechanical aptitude Good communication and problem-solving skills Handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously Team player
