Operator is responsible for performing secondary operations removing burrs, rough edges and excess material on machined parts using hand tools or motorized equipment. Operators also responsible for performing various types of surface finish texturizing to enhance appearance and/or to achieve required RA.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Follow the router for specific processing instructions Deburr parts using up to 10X magnification Ability to use a microscope Maintain specified production rate while achieving acceptable quality levels Handle parts so as to not cause nicks, scratches, or other damage to ID/OD surfaces Keep work area and machines clean and orderly

Required Skills and Knowledge:

High School graduate or GED equivalent Must have basic math, English, and spelling skills Proper use and settings of equipment, air and electric grinders, buffing wheels, speed lathes belt sanders Manual dexterity, physical activity that requires considerable use of hands and arms Deburr using a microscope continuously for an entire shift on a daily basis Able to lift up to 25 lbs. Ability to identify critical surfaces and not damage during processing
