Join a Team That Keeps Manufacturing Moving We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to support our night shift manufacturing operations in Mentor, Ohio. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on a variety of industrial equipment and automated systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient production. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, enjoys solving complex equipment issues, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities

Equipment Maintenance & Repair

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and machinery.

Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Maintain and repair vacuum furnaces, autoclaves, conveyors, wax presses, robotic cells, and related manufacturing equipment.

Diagnose equipment failures and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.

Conduct routine inspections to identify and address potential equipment issues before they impact production.

Automation & Technical Support

Support maintenance and basic programming of robotic systems.

Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and process improvement initiatives.

Partner with production teams to maximize equipment reliability and performance.

Facility & Plant Support

Perform maintenance tasks involving pipe fitting, plumbing, welding, soldering, and fabrication.

Safely operate maintenance equipment, including forklifts, scissor lifts, and aerial lifts.

Assist with equipment repairs at supplier, customer, and company locations as needed.

Support facility improvement, construction, and installation projects.

Safety & Compliance

Handle hazardous materials and waste in accordance with company procedures and MSDS requirements.

Follow all safety policies and contribute to a strong safety culture.

Maintain clean, organized work areas and support 6S and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Required

High school diploma or equivalent.

Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Preferred

Electrical degree, certification, or technical training.

3-5 years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.

Experience troubleshooting and repairing vacuum furnaces.

Knowledge of robotic maintenance and programming.

Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, plumbing, pipe fitting, and soldering.

Experience supporting manufacturing production equipment in a team-oriented environment.
