Twisted Croissant & Patisserie is seeking an experienced, career-minded baker to join our team. We are looking for a passionate professional who understands the dedication required for a career in pastry. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience with a solid foundation in dough lamination working specifically with croissants . If you do not have this experience, you will not be considered. Proficiency in yeasted and enriched doughs, as well as experience with commercial equipment such as mixers, ovens, and proofers, is required. Candidates must be able to hit the ground running with all basic preparations, including mixing and shaping dough.

We are looking for a self-starter who works well both independently and as part of a team. This is a early morning shift (2:00 AM 12:00 pm), working 4-10 hour shifts and weekend availability is required. Compensation is based on experience. Please note that applications without a cover letter will not be considered. Responsibilities Operate and monitor dough lamination machines, ensuring optimal performance and safety compliance. Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and dial gauges to verify dough thickness and layer consistency. Interpret technical drawings and specifications related to dough layering and croissant production processes. Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the work area, including proper handling of glass materials, ceramics, and kiln equipment used in baking processes. Conduct dimensional measurements and quality control checks throughout the lamination process to ensure product uniformity. Adjust machine settings based on measurements, CAD (Computer-Aided Design) specifications, or process requirements for optimal results. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot mechanical issues involving CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machinery or programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Follow safety protocols rigorously during machine operation, fabrication, and handling of raw materials. Assist in the setup and calibration of equipment such as GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) tools or coordinate measuring machines for precise measurements. Support continuous improvement initiatives by documenting process parameters and measurement data for quality assurance. Experience Prior experience operating manufacturing or bakery equipment with a focus on dough lamination or similar processes preferred. Mechanical knowledge related to machine operation, fabrication, and machining techniques is highly desirable. Familiarity with technical tools including calipers, micrometers, measurement instruments, hand tools, and precision measuring devices. Understanding of safety standards in production environments and adherence to safety protocols is essential. Experience interpreting technical drawings or CAD files relevant to manufacturing or baking processes is advantageous. Basic math skills for calculating measurements, tolerances, and process adjustments are required. Knowledge of kiln operations, ceramics handling, or glass materials is a plus but not mandatory.
