WIRE EDM OPERATOR

Job Summary Seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Wire EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining) Operator to join our manufacturing team. Responsible for setting up, programming, and operating Wire EDM machines to produce precision components according to technical specifications. Duties Interpret and work from blueprints, sketches, and CAD/CAM files to produce tooling components. Sinker experience required. Set up and operate Wire EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining) equipment as required for manufacturing applications. Perform routine machine maintenance to support daily operation of Wire EDM equipment. Carry out basic Wire EDM functions, including the removal of slugs from completed workpieces. Plan and organize work to maximize unattended machine run time when appropriate. Operate multiple Wire EDM machines as workload requirements dictate. Inspect finished components using measurement and testing methods to verify conformance to specifications and identify defects. Accurately track and record labor hours associated with each job. Transfer completed products to Die Assembly, Shipping, or the next operation in the manufacturing process as required.
