The Grinder is responsible for operating precision grinding equipment to produce high-quality tooling, moldponents, and machined parts that meet exact dimensional and surface finish requirements. The grinder will have experience with surface grinding, cylindrical grinding, and precision finishing operations in a tool and die, mold manufacturing, or precision machining environment. The Grinder requires strong attention to detail, quality focus, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. Key Responsibilities for the Grinder in

Erie, PA:

Set up and operate precision grinding equipment including surface grinders, cylindrical grinders, and related machinery Grind tooling, moldponents, inserts, plates, and machined parts to precise specifications and tolerances Read and interpret blues, engineering drawings, and work instructions Perform precision measurements using micrometers, calipers, indicators, height gauges, and other inspection equipment Maintain required surface finishes, flatness, parallelism, and dimensional accuracy Select and dress grinding wheels based on material and application requirements Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments during grinding operations Inspect finishedponents to ensurepliance with quality standards Troubleshoot setup, tooling, and grinding issues to minimize downtime and scrap Maintain clean andanized work areas while following all safety procedures Collaborate with machinists, toolmakers, engineering, and quality personnel to support production goals Key Requirements for the Grinder in
