Winder Operator

C POSITION OBJECTIVE

To learn fundamentals of the process while assisting machine operators while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment

QUALIFICATIONS

High school graduate or equivalent Mechanical aptitude Good oral /written communication skills Computing knowledge Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary. Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Any supplemental responsibilities as determined by supervision. Assist adjoining line if necessary Maintain equipment, notifying supervisor or Senior Extrusion Technician / Lead of any maintenance issues requiring immediate attention Slab rolls, load scrap unwinder, and grind scrap. Quality testing / data entry Overtime as required Strive to achieve departmental production and quality objectives Comply with company recycling policy Comply with all Plant Safety and Product Safety requirements
