Operates equipment safely and uses safe work habits while performing his job function. Maintains a clean work area. Accurately records time and materials used on the work order/job traveler and in operating software When necessary, accurately records time spent on maintenance or waiting on material in operating software Sets parameters and consumables appropriate to material and part being cut Changes consumables when needed Uses calibrated measuring tools to verify products are made to the drawing and within tolerances to ensure conformance with customer's specifications Monitors operation of the Plasma, detects faulty operation of equipment or defective materials, troubleshoots issues and notifies supervisor if assistance is required Unloads cut material and stacks in such a manner that it can be easily and safely moved to the next step on the router Operates hand and power tools as needed Performs maintenance when required Other duties as required

Qualifications:

Must be able to interpret drawings. Must have basic computer skills Preference for mechanical and diagnostic abilities Must be able to set up the table and select the proper consumables in order to create the proper cut as required by the drawing. Must understand proper use of hand tools and calibrated measuring Must be able to lift 50 Lbs. Must be able to stand up to 90% of the day. Must be able to work in unheated or non-air conditioned areas. Must be able to pass a drug screen and physical.
