Operator Location:
Houston 77587 Pay rate: $20 ProLogistix is seeking an experienced EDM Electrical Discharge Machining Operator to join our client's manufacturing team in the Houston area. The Ideal candidate will have experience operating EDM equipment and a strong understanding of machining processes, precision measurements, and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Set up and operate Wire EDM, Sinker EDM, and/or Hole-Pop EDM machines. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions. Program, edit, and troubleshoot EDM machine controls and machining parameters. Monitor machine operations and make adjustments to ensure quality and efficiency. Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges. Perform routine machine maintenance and keep equipment in good working condition. Document production activities, inspection results, and process data.
