Summary We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Band Saw Operator to join our team. The ideal canidate will have experience operating band saw machinery, cutting materials accurately to specifications, and following strict safety protocols. This role plays a key part in our production process and requires attention to detail and a commitment to quality. Responsibilities Operate saws and other cutting equipment with precision Read and interpret blueprints to determine cutting specifications Maintain equipment for optimal performance Collaborate with team members to meet production goals Ensure compliance with safety standards Perform quality inspections on cut materials Assist in training new operators as needed Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications Proven experience as a Saw Operator or similar role Strong understanding of CNC programming and operation Proficient in blueprint reading and GD&T principles Familiarity with various cutting techniques including plasma and laser cutting Basic math skills for measurements and calculations Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Commitment to safety and quality standards.
