Job Description:

We are Cambelt International, a Salt Lake City, UT based manufacturer of conveyor systems. With continued growth, we seek a Rubber Conveyor Belt Technician to join our creative and innovative team for an entry-level to mid-level (depending on your experience) career opportunity. Rubber Conveyor Belt Technicians at Cambelt International are responsible for manufacturing rubber conveyor belts following the direction of Production Leads and the Production Manager. This position offers the opportunity to grow and develop through the Cambelt training and promotion program.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of rubber conveyor belts Follow detailed instructions and safety protocols while working on conveyor systems Perform routine inspections and basic troubleshooting of conveyor belts Help with the setup and operation of conveyor belt equipment Maintain a clean and safe work environment Perform intermediate-level tasks in the installation, maintenance, and repair of rubber conveyor belts Work independently to complete assignments and troubleshoot issues with conveyor systems Conduct more complex inspections and testing of conveyor belts to ensure proper functioning Train and mentor entry-level technicians Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and tools Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team Some previous experience in a related field or completion of a relevant training program is preferred
