Goodfellow, Jalbert, Beard & Associates is a small surveying and engineering firm located in Mechanicsville, VA. We are currently looking for a Survey Instrument Operator . Experience is preferred, but not required. We are willing to train the right person.

Job Description:

Operate survey equipment such as Total Station, Robotic, GPS, and data collector. Aid in collecting field data for boundary surveys, physical improvement surveys, topographical surveys, and construction surveys. Aid in cutting brush and vegetation for line of sight. Aid in maintenance of field equipment. 4 10hr shifts, Mon-Thurs. No traveling.

Requirements:

Previous experience in the surveying field is preferred, but not required. We are willing to train the right person. Ability to work year-round in various weather conditions. Ability to carry loads of 50lbs over multiple types of terrain. Ability to work with a team. Valid driver's license.

$17.00 - $24.00 per hour
