Machine Operator Summary- Machine Operators process customers material to required specifications, the quality management system standards required (ISO 9001 standards) and Ryeco's internal process requirements. Continually monitors, visually inspects and measure work pieces to ensure that surfaces and dimensions meet specifications. To train and operate a double disc grinder a candidate must be proficient in math and understand precision tolerances out to .00001", gauging accurately, adapt to changing jobs. The double disc grinders are high production precision grinders with precise control of size, flatness, thickness, parallelism and surface finish. Requiring constant monitoring to ensure conformance to specifications are consistently met. Most cases yield numerous pieces per hour.

Requirements:

Strong mathematical skills. Excellent communication skills both verbally and written. High Attention to detail. The desire to do precision work, can be fast and very slow paced but is a very repetitive position. Computer proficiency- Working with various program applications and machines. Dependability- Attendance and reliability are mandatory requirements for this position. Good mechanical aptitude.

Duties include:

Machine set-up, activate machine start-up switches to grind, hone, according to specifications. Compute machine indexing and settings for specified dimensions and base reference points. Inspect or measure finished work pieces to determine conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments such as gauges, micrometers or other applicable measuring tools. Lift and position work pieces, manually or with hoists, and secure them in hoppers or on machine tables Measure work pieces and lay out work, using precision measuring devices. Move machine controls to index work pieces and adjust machines Monitor machine operations to detect any problems, making necessary adjustments to correct problems. Select machine tooling to be used, using knowledge of machine and production requirements. Set and adjust machine controls according to product specifications, using knowledge of machine operation. Follow and comply with company processes,procedures and ISO9001:2015 standards. ~Will Train The Right Candidate~ The position includes competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits package,weekly pay and a Monday- Friday work schedule, 6:00 a.m.- 2:30 p.m. Benefits~
