In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely executing abatement procedures to remove hazardous materials such as mold, asbestos, lead, and other contaminants. Your expertise will help restore properties to safe, healthy conditions while ensuring adherence to strict safety protocols. Duties Perform abatement tasks including mold remediation, asbestos removal, lead paint abatement, and other hazardous material mitigation activities. Conduct thorough cleaning, water damage restoration, flood restoration, and fire restoration projects using appropriate techniques and equipment. Operate company vehicles safely to transport tools, equipment, and personnel to job sites. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as Xactimate for estimating and documenting work performed. Apply personal protective equipment (PPE) properly at all times, including respiratory protection and other safety gear to ensure safety during hazardous material handling. Respond promptly to emergency situations requiring on-call coverage for water damage or flood restoration incidents. Follow all safety protocols diligently to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and team members while adhering to industry standards. Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure project scope is clear and expectations are met or exceeded. Skills Proven experience in the restoration industry with knowledge of water damage, flood restoration, fire damage repair, and mold remediation. Strong understanding of safety procedures including PPE use, respiratory protection, and hazard containment. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, carpet cleaning equipment, and other restoration machinery efficiently. Construction experience is a plus for understanding building materials and structural considerations during remediation projects. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients throughout the project process. Familiarity with Xactimate or similar estimating software for accurate job documentation and invoicing. Capable of working independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments requiring on-call availability for emergency response situations.
