Job Description

Job Overview:
We are urgently seeking a skilled and experienced Water Restoration Mitigation Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for mitigating damaged properties following water, fire, mold and smoke disasters. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of mitigation methods and techniques for water, smoke, fire, and mold damage. The Technician will work closely with owners of the business, other team members and home owners to ensure that all mitigation projects are completed to the highest standards. The ideal candidate is seeking a long term career building opportunity.
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a clean and stocked truck
  • Communicate effectively with homeowners explaining accurate reasoning for mitigation techniques preformed.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of damaged properties to determine the extent of the damage and the necessary mitigation procedures.
  • Utilize power tools and hand tools to complete mitigation tasks.
  • Clean and remove various surfaces, including carpets, walls, and ceilings.
  • Work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment to meet tight deadlines.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure that all mitigation projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Take detailed notes and photos for accurate documentation.
  • Follow OSHA safety protocols
  • Lift minimum of 50 pounds
  • Able to be in a confined space such as attics and crawlspaces to perform mitigation tasks
  • Willing to be on-call outside of normal business hours
Skills:
  • Experience in the mitigation industry, with a focus on water, mold, smoke and fire mitigation.
  • Knowledge of mitigation methods and techniques.
  • Proficiency with power tools and hand tools.
  • Ability to work safely in environments that may contain hazardous materials.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
