Job Description

The Hull's Hazmat Field Technician is responsible for completing field and industrial service activities in a safe and compliant manner. Activities include but are not limited to emergency spill response, industrial cleaning, waste management and environmental site remediation.
Responsibilities:
Perform physical labor including lifting, pulling and pushing heavy objects Identify, load/unload, transport and dispose of hazardous/non-hazardous materials Clean contaminated equipment/areas Maintain up-to-date OSHA and company required training Maintain and operate equipment and tools issued by the company Comply with on-going and random drug testing and physicals as required by the company Available for emergency response 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
Skills & Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred Minimum of 1 year trade/construction experience Ability to use and wear Personal Protective Equipment Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred Ability to work nights and weekends and to travel out of town on short notice for extended periods of time Hazardous waste experience and certifications are ideal Previous environmental services industry experience a plus
