Job Description
Clean Harbors is hiring a Retail Technician - Class A CDL to support environmental and industrial service operations. In this role, you will safely operate Class A vehicles to collect, transport, and deliver materials, including hazardous and non-hazardous waste, from retail and industrial locations. You'll assist with site cleanup, packaging, and loading, perform basic equipment and vehicle inspections, and ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, and company safety standards. Working in a safety-first, team-focused environment, you'll contribute to meaningful environmental projects and support customers across multiple sectors. Responsibilities Safely operate Class A CDL vehicles to collect and transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste from retail and industrial sites Assist with on-site packaging, labeling, loading, and unloading of materials in compliance with regulations Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance checks on trucks and equipment Follow all DOT, OSHA, and company safety procedures, including use of required PPESupport spill response and industrial cleaning tasks under supervisor direction Maintain accurate logs, manifests, and service documentation for all jobs Communicate with dispatch, supervisors, and customers to ensure timely, quality service Participate in required safety meetings, drills, and ongoing training programs Required Skills Class A CDL operation Hazardous materials handling Tanker operation Preventive vehicle maintenance DOT compliance OSHA safety practices Load securement Emergency spill response support Industrial cleaning equipment operation Job documentation and reporting
