Job Description

Job Summary Fast-growing water damage restoration company is seeking a career-minded, motivated AHERA-certified individual to join our team. This position is ideal for someone with asbestos awareness/abatement experience who is looking to grow within the restoration industry. The successful candidate will assist with asbestos-related projects associated with water damage, demolition, and restoration work while ensuring all work is performed in accordance with applicable regulations and company procedures.
Qualifications:
Current AHERA certification required Previous asbestos, environmental, demolition, or restoration experience preferred Knowledge of asbestos regulations and safe work practices Ability to properly document work and maintain accurate records Strong attention to detail and safety awareness Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to work in residential and commercial environments Must be dependable, professional, and willing to learn
Responsibilities:
Perform asbestos-related inspections, sampling, or project duties within the scope of certification Assist with asbestos-related restoration and demolition projects Follow all applicable OSHA, EPA, AHERA, and company safety requirements Maintain proper documentation and job records Coordinate with project managers, technicians, and other contractors Maintain a clean and safe work environment Provide professional customer service while working in occupied properties
