Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Environmental Technician to join our team. In this role, you'll be instrumental in ensuring safe, compliant, and effective demolition and remediation services for a variety of environmental challenges. You'll be responsible for monitoring air quality during cleaning, restoration, and remediation activities, which may involve the removal of hazardous materials such as asbestos, lead, and mold. No Experience? No Problem... we offer Paid Training. Key Skills & Qualifications Strong listening skills, ability to follow instructions, and eagerness to learn. Proficient in operating both hand and power tools. Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment. Knowledge or familiarity with construction principles related to demolition work (a plus). Primary Responsibilities Meet with the foreman on-site to review the project's scope of work. Set up air monitoring equipment and collect samples. Oversee crew operations to ensure OSHA and Department of Health safety protocols are followed. Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of daily work activities. Perform thorough inspections to verify that hazardous materials are removed and disposed of properly. Certify that the worksite meets safety standards before clearance. Additional Information Rotation schedule among night shifts, weekend shifts, and travel projects. Reliable personal transportation is required (mileage reimbursement provided).
