NSC Staffing Send Resumes to: debbie.lluch@nscstaffing.com NSC Staffing is seeking qualified Supervisor/ Laborers / Trade Helpers with Active Secret Clearance to support non-nuclear, non-SUBSAFE submarine maintenance operations at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard & Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) . This position provides critical support to shipyard trades personnel and maintenance teams through industrial cleaning, material handling, fire watch support, pressure washing, tank cleaning, and general labor activities aboard U.S. Navy vessels. Local candidates are highly preferred to support project continuity and minimize recurring travel requirements. Position Overview The Supervisor/ Laborers / Trade Helpers with Active Secret Clearance performs a variety of labor-intensive support functions aboard submarines and within active shipyard environments. This role requires personnel capable of sustained physical work in challenging conditions including confined spaces, heavy industrial work areas, poor ventilation, respirator environments, elevated work locations, and shipboard maintenance spaces. Candidates must be safety-focused, physically capable, and able to support multiple shipyard trades while adhering to strict government, shipyard, and safety requirements. Key Responsibilities Shipyard Trade Support Assist shipyard trades personnel during maintenance, repair, and modernization activities. Support production operations aboard submarines and within shipyard facilities. Assist with setup, staging, and movement of materials, equipment, and tools. Industrial Cleaning & Housekeeping Perform industrial housekeeping and cleaning activities in accordance with project requirements.
Clean and maintain:
Tanks Bilges Void spaces Machinery spaces Compartments Industrial work areas Support contamination control and cleanliness requirements. Pressure Washing & Surface Cleaning Operate pressure-washing equipment up to 6,000 PSI . Perform cleaning and preparation activities on shipboard structures, components, and work areas. Follow all safety procedures related to pressure washing operations. Material Handling & Logistics Support Load, unload, transport, and stage materials and equipment. Support warehouse and jobsite logistics operations. Utilize hand tools and power tools in support of production activities.
Fire Watch & Safety Support Perform:
Fire Watch duties Tank Watch duties Safety observer responsibilities Monitor work areas during hot work and hazardous operations. Maintain compliance with safety procedures and shipyard requirements. Confined Space & Scaffold Support Work in confined spaces, tanks, voids, and other restricted-access areas. Support scaffold operations and elevated work activities. Assist trades personnel performing maintenance and repair work in difficult-access locations. Qualifications & Experience Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED preferred. Active Secret Clearance Previous shipyard, industrial, construction, or labor experience preferred. Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods. Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds or more regularly. Ability to work aboard submarines and naval vessels.

Must meet all PHNSY and Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam (JBPHH) access requirements. Must be able to obtain and maintain: DBIDS credentials Base access authorization Visitor request approvals SACB processing requirements Must meet all government-directed medical and security requirements prior to start. Work Environment Active U.S. Navy submarine maintenance environment. Shipboard and industrial shipyard work locations.

Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry 50+ pounds regularly. Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and work in awkward positions. Ability to work extended shifts in physically demanding industrial environments. Ability to wear required PPE, including: Respirators Hard hats Safety glasses Hearing protection Gloves Fall protection equipment Ability to safely enter and work within confined spaces and restricted-access locations.
