Job Description
Clean Harbors is seeking a Class A CDL Equipment Operator to support environmental and industrial service projects across the region. In this field-based role, you will safely operate Class A CDL trucks and heavy equipment to transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials, support waste management, and assist with industrial cleaning and spill response. You will perform pre- and post-trip inspections, follow strict safety and environmental protocols, and maintain detailed documentation. Responsibilities Operate Class A CDL vehicles and heavy equipment to support environmental and industrial service projects Transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials in compliance with DOT and company safety standards Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete required documentation Assist with setup and operation of industrial cleaning and waste management equipment at client sites Follow strict safety protocols and use appropriate PPE at all times Communicate with dispatch and project supervisors to ensure timely and efficient service Maintain cleanliness, basic maintenance, and proper operation of assigned vehicles and equipment Support emergency spill response and environmental remediation activities as needed Adhere to environmental regulations and company policies to protect people and the environment Participate in required safety meetings, training, and certifications to maintain compliance Required Skills Class A CDL driving Heavy equipment operation Hazardous materials handling DOT compliance Vehicle inspection and maintenance Industrial cleaning equipment operation Load securement Emergency response support Reading and following safety procedures Basic mechanical aptitude
