Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Lead Technician to oversee and execute restoration projects with precision and professionalism. In this pivotal role, you will work with a team of technicians, coordinate emergency response efforts, and ensure all restoration services—ranging from water and flood damage to fire and mold remediation—are performed safely, efficiently, and to the highest industry standards. Your expertise will drive customer satisfaction, uphold safety protocols, and maintain operational excellence across diverse restoration projects. Responsibilities Lead, work with and supervise a team of technicians during restoration projects, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and efficiently. Perform emergency response readiness activities, including rapid deployment for water damage, flood, fire, or mold remediation scenarios. Operate a variety of power tools, hand tools, and company vehicles safely while adhering to all safety protocols such as respiratory protection and PPE use. Manage project timelines, coordinate with clients, and communicate progress effectively to ensure customer satisfaction. Execute specialized restoration tasks including carpet cleaning, asbestos abatement, mold remediation, and construction-related repairs. Maintain strict compliance with safety standards, including proper handling of hazardous materials like asbestos or mold; enforce safety protocol adherence among team members. Ensure proper cleaning procedures are followed post-restoration; handle equipment maintenance and inventory management for tools and supplies. Be prepared for on-call coverage to respond promptly to emergency situations outside regular hours. Experience Experience in the restoration industry with a background in water damage, flood restoration, fire restoration, mold remediation, and asbestos abatement. Demonstrated leadership skills with previous supervisory or lead technician roles preferred. Familiarity with construction processes related to repair or renovation projects within the restoration context. Hands-on experience operating power tools, hand tools, carpet cleaning equipment, and company vehicles safely. Knowledge of safety protocols including respiratory protection and personal protective equipment (PPE) use during hazardous work environments. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients during stressful situations.
