Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Asbestos Supervisor to lead and oversee asbestos abatement projects with precision and safety. Duties Supervise asbestos removal teams, ensuring all work is performed according to strict safety protocols and regulatory requirements Coordinate daily project activities, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation for asbestos abatement projects Conduct site inspections to monitor work progress, enforce safety regulations, and maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness Lead staff training on asbestos handling procedures, safety measures, and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure project compliance and address any issues promptly Oversee janitorial and custodial tasks related to industrial cleaning, sanitation management, and debris disposal during projects Maintain detailed documentation of project activities, safety incidents, inspections, and compliance reports Experience Proven supervising experience in industrial cleaning or hazardous material removal environments, preferably with asbestos abatement projects Strong background in team management, staff supervision, and leadership within janitorial or custodial settings Familiarity with safety regulations related to asbestos handling, industrial cleaning standards, and sanitation protocols Experience managing commercial cleaning operations or housekeeping management in large facilities or industrial sites Excellent managerial communication skills to effectively lead teams and liaise with clients and regulatory bodies Demonstrated ability to implement cleaning & sanitation management practices that ensure healthful environments Prior custodial experience with a focus on safety regulations, laundry services, hospitality standards or similar fields is advantageous This role is essential for maintaining safe working environments through expert supervision of asbestos removal activities combined with comprehensive cleaning operations.
