This is a great opportunity for certified asbestos professionals looking for a day-shift assignment with a four-day workweek and up to 40 hours per week. Local candidates from Columbus and the surrounding areas are strongly encouraged to apply.
What You'll Do:
Perform asbestos-abatement work safely and in accordance with applicable regulations and site procedures Remove, handle, package, and dispose of asbestos-containing materials properly Wear and maintain all required PPE and respiratory-protection equipment Follow supervisor instructions while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area
What We're Looking For:
Current asbestos worker certification Previous asbestos-abatement or environmental-remediation experience Ability to perform physical work outdoors on an exterior roof project Dependable attendance, reliable transportation, and a strong safety mindset
Why You'll Love Working Here:
Day-shift assignment with a 7:00 a.m. start time Four-day workweek with Wednesdays off Approximately 32-40 hours per week, weather permitting Fast-start opportunity with an established environmental-services company
Shift:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday Wednesday off Day shift beginning at 7:00 a.m. 40 hours per week, weather permitting Four 10-hour workdays are anticipated; final hours may vary depending on project needs
Pay:
$20.00 per hour
License/Certification:
Asbestos Certification (Preferred)
