Overview Join our dynamic team as a Mold Remediation Technician & Project Manager, where you'll lead the fight against mold and fire damage while managing restoration projects from start to finish. Your expertise will help restore properties affected by mold, water, fire, and flood damage, providing relief and peace of mind to homeowners and businesses alike. Duties Perform mold remediation, water damage restoration, fire restoration, using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and respiratory protection to ensure safety. Operate company vehicles, power tools, hand tools, and specialized equipment to execute remediation tasks efficiently. Conduct thorough inspections of affected areas to assess damage severity and determine appropriate remediation strategies. Manage restoration projects from initial assessment through completion, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating resources. Work with the team to prepare detailed estimates using Xactimate software and document all work performed accurately for insurance claims and client records. Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and industry standards while executing on-call emergency response coverage for urgent remediation needs. Communicate clearly with clients to provide updates on project progress and ensure exceptional customer service throughout the process. Qualifications Proven experience in the restoration industry with a focus on mold remediation, water damage restoration or fire restoration. Construction experience or familiarity with building materials enhances your ability to assess damages accurately. Strong knowledge of safety procedures including PPE use, respiratory protection, and asbestos abatement protocols. Ability to operate power tools, hand tools, company vehicles safely and efficiently. Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients during stressful situations. Emergency response readiness with flexibility for on-call coverage during nights or weekends as needed. Familiarity with Xactimate estimating software is preferred; however, training can be provided for motivated candidates. Holding an IICRC certification for AMRT (Applied Microbial Remediation Technician) is preferred, however, not required.
