Rescue Supervisor:
$40.00/hour
Rescue Technician:
$30.00/hour Overtime paid at 1.5x after 40 hours Liberty Safety Company is seeking experienced Confined Space Rescue Supervisors and Rescue Technicians for an upcoming short-duration industrial project in Nevada, Texas . This assignment will involve providing dedicated permit-required confined space rescue standby coverage during work being performed inside an industrial boiler. Candidates must have hands-on industrial confined space rescue experience and be prepared to work extended shifts for the duration of the project. This is currently a potential project with an anticipated Monday start date, subject to final bid acceptance and project award . Rescue Supervisor Requirements Minimum 5 years of confined space rescue experience Completed 40-hour Confined Space Rescue training Experience supervising or leading industrial confined space rescue operations Knowledge of permit-required confined space rescue procedures Ability to conduct pre-entry rescue planning and evaluate rescue configurations Experience with rescue rigging, retrieval systems, patient packaging, and atmospheric hazards Current CPR/First Aid certification EMT certification strongly preferred Ability to work 12-hour shifts for the duration of the project Must be dependable and able to report to Nevada, TX for the entire assignment Rescue Technician Requirements Minimum 3 years of confined space rescue experience Completed 40-hour Confined Space Rescue training Hands-on experience with industrial confined space rescue operations Experience with rescue ropes, retrieval equipment, patient packaging, and confined space entry procedures Current CPR/First Aid certification EMT certification preferred Ability to work 12-hour shifts for the duration of the project Must be dependable and able to report to Nevada, TX for the entire assignment Job Responsibilities Selected personnel will be responsible for: Providing dedicated permit-required confined space rescue standby coverage Inspecting and staging rescue equipment before entry operations Participating in pre-entry rescue planning Maintaining rescue readiness while workers are inside the confined space Monitoring changing conditions that could affect rescue operations Setting up retrieval, rigging, and patient packaging systems as required Coordinating with the entry supervisor, attendant, safety personnel, and project management Maintaining required rescue documentation and equipment inspections Responding immediately in the event of a confined space emergency Maintaining a professional and safety-focused presence on the project Preferred Qualifications Additional consideration will be given to candidates with: EMT, AEMT, or Paramedic certification OSHA 30 Construction

Employment and the anticipated Monday start date are contingent upon Liberty Safety Company receiving final authorization from the client. The anticipated schedule is 7 consecutive 12-hour shifts , resulting in significant overtime for the one-week assignment.
