Environmental Technicians are first-line respondents that are cross-trained to provide countless services to various industries. These services can include but are not limited to emergency response and remediation. Technicians are expected to be available to respond to emergency/time-critical incidents, chemical releases, natural disasters, derailments, transloading activities, soil excavations and water-way responses. Responsibilities Conduct thorough cleaning and restoration of environments affected by water damage, fire, or mold. Utilize hand and power tools for effective restoration and remediation tasks. Implement safety measures during asbestos abatement and other hazardous material handling. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient project execution and adherence to industry standards. Maintain equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance and safety during operations. Qualifications Experience in cleaning and restoration, particularly in fire and water damage restoration Proficiency in mold remediation techniques Familiarity with hand and power tools used in construction and restoration Knowledge of carpet cleaning and asbestos abatement practices Previous work experience in the restoration industry is preferred Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards EnviroServe is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
