Set up and maintain containment areas to prevent contamination. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) such as respirators and protective suits to ensure safety. Dispose of asbestos materials according to federal, state, and local regulations. Clean and decontaminate equipment and work areas post-abatement. A current Asbestos License Familiarity with industrial safety standards, practices and protocols. Strong understanding of hazardous material handling and disposal regulations. Proficiency with the use of abatement equipment and tools. Ability to pass medical examinations and fitness tests. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols and procedures. Willingness to work in various environmental conditions and confined spaces. Effective communication skills for coordination with team members and supervisors.
