Duties Respond promptly to emergency calls for water, fire, mold, and storm damage restoration projects. Perform water extraction, flood cleanup, and drying using specialized equipment such as moisture meters and dehumidifiers. Conduct fire damage cleanup including soot removal, smoke odor mitigation, and debris disposal. Identify and remediate mold growth using industry-approved techniques and personal protective equipment (PPE). Execute mold remediation procedures following safety protocols to prevent cross-contamination. Utilize hand tools, power tools, Xactimate estimating software, and construction experience to restore affected areas efficiently. Operate company vehicles safely for on-call coverage and project transportation. Perform asbestos abatement when necessary with proper certification and safety measures. Conduct cleaning tasks such as carpet cleaning and surface sanitation using appropriate methods. Follow all safety protocols including respiratory protection and PPE use during restoration activities. Document all work performed accurately in reports and communicate progress effectively with clients and team members. Experience Prior experience in the restoration industry or construction environment is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of water damage restoration, flood recovery, fire restoration, and mold remediation techniques. Familiarity with Xactimate or similar estimating software is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients during stressful situations. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, carpet cleaning equipment, and company vehicles safely. Experience with safety protocol adherence including respiratory protection and PPE use is essential. Willingness to be on-call for emergency response coverage outside of regular hours is required.
