Phoenix, AZ Job Details Full-time $20 - $26 an hour 9 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Qualifications Computer operation Heavy lifting 5S Manufacturing facility experience Ability to follow instructions Computer skills Treating (manufacturing process) Full Job Description SVS Group is currently looking to hire an Experienced Heat Treat Operators on 1st shift and 2nd shift for one of our best Metal Foundry Clients here in Phoenix, AZ. You will have typical Heat Treat Operating job duties while working with a furnace to include: Operate furnaces dealing with metal. This area is hot so you must be ok working in the heat. Mix and apply Braze Alloy on parts and components. Ensure the calibration stickers for each piece of equipment are current before running. Verify correct tooling to ensure parts are within specifications. Perform visual inspection on braze joints prior to putting in the furnace and after heat treating. Complete any paperwork associated with their work instructions or job function. Verify there is no "metal to metal contact". Observes color of metal and instruments such as voltmeter, ammeter, wattmeter, and pyrometer, and adjusts controls to maintain specified temperature. Records data from each run. Ensure that all preventative maintenance is performed in accordance with PM schedule. Keep work area clean at all times (6S's)
Requirements:
You must have at least 2 + years of recent Heat Treat Operating Experience Excellent communication and cooperation. Basic computer skills. Ability to read and understand work order instructions and station plans. You must be ok with Heavy Lifting - Up to 50lbs You must have fantastic attendance and punctuality You must have a great attitude and desire to learn You must be good with working in the Heat We are currently Hiring for 1st shift and 2nd Shift.
