In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, repairing, and inspecting fiberglass components using advanced machinery and hand tools. Duties Operate and maintain fiberglass fabrication equipment, ensuring optimal performance. Prepare molds and layup materials accurately, following detailed specifications and engineering drawings. Conduct quality inspections using precision measurement instruments and dimensional measurement techniques to verify product conformity. Troubleshoot manufacturing issues related to injection molding, extrusion, and other plastics production processes. Handle materials safely within the warehouse environment, utilizing forklifts and proper materials handling procedures. Perform routine maintenance on industrial equipment and assist in troubleshooting mechanical or automation-related problems. Follow strict safety protocols during all phases of production, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues. Experience Proven experience in fiberglass fabrication. Familiarity with industrial equipment troubleshooting, Ability to read engineering drawings and perform precise measurements using micrometers, calipers, and other measurement tools for quality control purposes. Mechanical knowledge combined with basic math skills to interpret specifications, calculate measurements, and troubleshoot technical issues effectively. Warehouse experience including materials handling with forklifts is preferred to support efficient production flow. Strong commitment to safety protocol adherence along with excellent problem-solving skills to address engineering or industrial equipment issues promptly.
