Job Description
Melting Operator Your tasks Operate and maintain melting furnaces, perform material testing, include spark testing of material samples. Transport and pour molten aluminum into the dosing furnace. Adjust operational parameters within set tolerances and suggest permanent improvements. Keep and compile logs and reports, such as melting reports, furnace downtime and quality issues. Perform maintenance on melting furnaces and other equipment and repair transport crucibles. Document measures taken for troubleshooting and error correction. Other duties as assigned. Your profile High school diploma or equivalent required. Forklift license / Crane operator license desired. Proven experience in operating melting furnaces and handling molten metals. Experience in material testing and quality control.
