General job summary Pay 1st shift $2100- 2d shift $23.00, 3rd shift $24.00 (2nd and 3rd shift include shift pay)
Hours:
1st: 7:00am to 3:30pm Overtime Available 2nd 3:00pm to 11:30pm Overtime Available 3rd 11:00pm to 7:30 am (Sunday Night to Friday Morning) Overtime Responsible for overseeing the manufacture of machines and equipment that apply induction heat treatments to metals and metal components. These treatments remove defects and can be finished to specific products, for example, artificial aging.
SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Understand, change, adjust and control parameters for industrial induction heat treat lines. Monitoring of the process, and adjusting times and temperatures according to the instructions. Remove the products from the oven and air drying, or air conditioning in water baths, oil or chemical. Comply with
ISO 16949 14001
requirements, safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas - perform 5S cleaning responsibilities Read job instructions and perform basic mathematical calculations Perform all other duties as assigned or needed. Job Requirements One year minimum experience with induction heat treat for metal parts. High school diploma or equivalent required. Must be able to read and interpret piece part drawings and make decisions regarding part quality and offset changes. Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude. Able to work in a fast-paced environment running multiple production lines. Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude. Able to maintain regular and predictable attendance, work overtime and weekends as needed.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Work is performed in a manufacturing setting standing and walking on concrete floors throughout an 8-to-12-hour shift with frequent handling of metal parts weighing 1 to 5 pounds, visual inspection, occasional bending or reaching, use of hand tools, use of up to 50 lbs. of force to move heavy loads on wheels.
