$24-30/hr

Description:

Seeking a Handform Technician for a local growing manufacturer that is climate-controlled! The Handform Technician forms and shapes steel, titanium, and aluminum materials to engineering drawing specifications using hand tools, forming equipment, templates, and precision measuring instruments. Responsible for accurately forming parts, inspecting work using calipers, micrometers, gauges, fixtures, and other measuring equipment, and maintaining quality throughout the process. The Handform Technician must understand material types, tempers, gauges, surface preparation, heat-treat conditions, and forming requirements. Requires strong attention to detail, good hand skills, basic math and tool knowledge, and the ability to read and follow instructions.

Job Requirements:

A minimum of 1 year of handforming or similar manufacturing experience is preferred. High school diploma or GED is required.
