Job Description

Heat Treat Furnace Operator - Training Provided 2nd & 3rd Shift | Paid Training on 2nd Shift (First 4 Weeks) $22.00-$26.00 DOE per hour | Full-Time Looking for a hands-on manufacturing career with room to grow? Join our team as a Heat Treat Furnace Operator where you'll work with precision metal components through the heat treating and finishing process. If you have experience operating manufacturing equipment, reading blueprints, and working in a metal manufacturing environment, we'd love to hear from you. What You'll Do Operate and monitor industrial heat treat furnaces and related equipment Load and unload metal parts for heat treatment and quenching processes Monitor furnace temperatures, cycle times, and alarms Perform basic inspections using precision measuring tools Read blueprints, setup sheets, and work instructions Verify parts meet quality specifications Report equipment or production issues to supervisors Follow ISO quality procedures and safety standards Maintain accurate production documentation Minimum Required Skills Experience working in a metal manufacturing or metalworking environment Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings Experience operating industrial manufacturing equipment (PLC or CNC-controlled equipment preferred) Experience using calipers, micrometers, gauge pins, or optical comparators Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office) Strong math and measurement skills Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and stand for extended periods Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team High School Diploma or GED Preferred Experience Heat treating or metal finishing Batch furnaces, temper ovens, wash units, Endo generators, or hardness testers Stamping or precision metal manufacturing ERP systems such as Syteline ISO quality standards and inspection procedures Schedule 2nd or 3rd Shift Paid training on 2nd Shift for approximately 4 weeks Benefits Competitive pay: $22.00-$26.00/hour Health Insurance Dental & Vision Insurance 401(k) Short-Term Disability Paid Time Off Stable full-time opportunity with advancement potential Indeed Search Keywords Heat Treat Operator
