No Degree RequiredResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities Furnace & Quench Operation:

Control furnaces to reheat and quench metal parts according to specifications.

Instrumentation Monitoring:

Accurately read gauges, sight glasses, and control instrumentation to monitor processing conditions.

Quality & Testing:

Conduct quality control tests using Brinell Testers, Rockwell Testers, and metal lab equipment (polishing and metallograph).

Material Handling:

Safely load/unload parts using heavy conveyors.

Documentation:

Fill out production logs and quality report documents accurately.

Qualifications & Requirements Experience:

Prior experience in heat treating, metallurgy, or heavy manufacturing is preferred; on-the-job training is provided as needed.

Physical & Equipment Ability:

Must have the physical strength and agility to lift parts, build loads, and operate production equipment.

Technical Skills:

Ability to read basic gauges, perform quality testing, and handle material handling machinery (crane/forklift). Working Conditions Candidates must be comfortable working in a standard heat-treat industrial environment, which includes exposure to heat, odors, dust, soot, and elevated noise levels. Safety gear and protocols are strictly enforced.
