Job Description

ENGINEERED HEAT TREAT, INC.
Subsidiary of BMT Aerospace. located in Madison Heights, MI is looking for a
Heat Treat Technician Working Conditions:
Must be able to tolerate heat, odors, dust, soot, and noise levels associated with heat Treating Processes.
Description:
A furnace operator is someone who operates industrial furnace that are used to mold, melt and process metals.
Essential Job Functions:
Maintaining furnace control to meet specified requirements of process Inspection of parts before and after heat treating operation for conformance to specifications Examine parts for cleanliness and previous inspection furnace components Reads computer controls, such as carbon controller at periodic intervals to ensure specified temperatures and soaking plus cooling times are maintained Examine processed parts for conformance to specifications, using visual and precision measuring instruments Approve items and writes rejection notices and rework orders on parts not meeting specification Additional job duties as assigned
Specific Minimum Requirements:
3 Years previous experience with Heat Treat Must have experience with Hardness Inspection Knowledge of
HRC/ HRA/ HR15N/ HR30N
is preferred Self-motivated; able to work without constant supervision Good work ethics: dependable, reliable Able to work in a team environment; gets along with others Able to tolerate working in a hot environment

From $19.00 to $ 26 depends on experience
