This is a versatile position that can develop in several directions based on your strengths and interests. You may spend your time inspecting mechanical components, developing control plans and quality documentation, or working with suppliers and customers to manage certifications and technical requirements. What You'll Do Read and interpret mechanical drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and specifications. Inspect machined and mechanical components using appropriate measurement tools. Verify materials and processes such as heat treating, plating, and other special processes. Develop control plans and quality documentation from drawings and standards such as ASME. Obtain and review supplier certifications and communicate technical requirements. Work with customers, suppliers, production, and engineering to resolve quality and documentation issues. What We're Looking For Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Ability to read and understand mechanical/engineering drawings. Understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and specifications. Comfortable working with inspection tools and technical documentation. Good communication and organizational skills. Willingness to learn and take ownership. Quality, inspection, manufacturing, or engineering experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person.
