Heat Treat Technician Helper

Roles & Responsibilities A Heat Treat Technician Helper performs heat treating per specifications outlined on work order, i.e., pre-heat, post-heat stress relieve, normalize, temper or anneal For this position, day-to-day responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to: Operate all furnaces Keep accurate records and furnace charts Perform hardness testing to verify compliance to work order requirement Organize "heat treat lots" of material based on time & temperature requirements Desired Requirements Must be able to operate a forklift and lifting devices Must be able to communicate in English (both written and oral) as it relates to the job Competency Minimum Requirements Must be able to read and understand work orders, drawings, and other written instructions Forklift Operator experience is desired Desired Qualifications High School Diploma Western Forge & Flange Co is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer....
