In Heat Treat you will load and operate furnaces, gas and electric, which perform various types of heat treatment. You will also check gauges and instruments during heat treat process and make adjustments or report irregularities to the supervisor. You will become responsible to learn how to properly inspect parts to blueprint specifications. You must know proper testing procedures for all orders being run and be able to test parts being run using approved methods. Capable of writing process sheets for orders and approve sheets for other operators.
