Job Summary We are seeking an experienced bench jeweler to join our dynamic team in a family owned and operated full-service jewelry store. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with various hand and power tools, including a laser welder. As a jeweler, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing jewelry pieces with precision and attention to detail. Duties Fabricate and assemble jewelry components. Conduct repairs and maintenance on existing jewelry pieces, ensuring they meet quality standards. Set diamonds and gemstones and create mountings Maintain an organized workspace within the manufacturing facility or warehouse. Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency. Follow safety protocols while operating machinery and handling materials. Qualifications A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in jewelry fabrication is required. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to jewelry making. Laser welder experience is required. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment as needed. Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
