Job Description

Mesa Jewelers is seeking a talented and detail-driven Bench Jeweler to join our full-service workshop. This is more than just a job—it's a chance to grow your craft alongside a master goldsmith with over 25 years of experience, in a shop equipped with both traditional tools and modern technology like laser welders.
What You'll Do:
Perform jewelry repairs: soldering, sizing, polishing, stone setting, and refinishing Collaborate with our lead goldsmith on repairs and custom work Operate in a fully equipped shop with torches, laser welders, and precision tools Communicate with sales staff to assess repair needs and provide pricing guidance Maintain a clean, efficient workspace and contribute to a positive team culture Continue developing your skills through mentorship and hands-on experience
What We're Looking For:
Minimum 2 years of bench jeweler experience Proficiency in soldering, sizing, polishing, and stone setting Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity Excellent communication and professionalism with staff and occasional customer interactions Ability to multitask and manage interruptions in a dynamic workshop Willingness to relocate to Grand Junction, CO and embrace our respectful, hard-working culture Formal training or certification in jewelry making is a plus, but not required
