Jeweler Lees Gold Port Saint Lucie, FL Job Details Full-time $50,000 a year 1 day ago Qualifications Fabrication Customer communication Soldering Restoration Attention to detail Jewelry sales Full Job Description We are looking for a dependable, trustworthy, and skilled Jeweler who can complete jewelry repairs, perform appraisals, assist customers, and help grow the jewelry side of our business. Responsibilities Complete professional jewelry repairs, including sizing, soldering, stone replacement, chain repair, clasp replacement, polishing, and restoration Inspect jewelry and provide accurate repair estimates Perform professional jewelry evaluations and appraisals Identify precious metals, gemstones, and jewelry markings Clean, polish, and prepare jewelry for display or customer pickup Communicate professionally with customers about repairs and jewelry services Maintain accurate records for repairs, appraisals, and customer items Keep the jewelry work area organized, clean, and secure Follow all company security, confidentiality, and inventory procedures Assist with buying, selling, and evaluating jewelry when needed Help maintain the professional reputation of Lees Gold Qualifications Previous professional jewelry repair or bench jeweler experience required Preferred Experience Jewelry repair: 2 years or more Bench jeweler experience Jewelry appraisal and gemstone identification Custom jewelry design or fabrication Experience working in a jewelry store or precious-metals business Experience with ring sizing, soldering, stone setting, polishing, and general repairs Knowledge of gold, silver, platinum, gemstones, and fine jewelry Appraisal experience is strongly preferred Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship Honest, dependable, organized, and professional Comfortable working with customers Able to properly document and safeguard valuable customer property References or examples of previous work may be requested Must be willing to complete a background check
