Hey there! We're on the hunt for a super talented Dressmaker to join Rosa Clará in Chicago! If you're all about sewing beautiful bridal gowns, love working with fancy fabrics, and want to be part of a classy, high-end fashion family, this could be your next big adventure. We're looking for someone who's got serious skills and experience in the bridal world, precision is key! What you'll be doing:
Nailing Alterations:
Making sure every dress fits perfectly, with attention to detail that meets Rosa Clará's top-notch standards, all done on schedule. Helping Out in
Fittings:
Teaming up with our Sales Advisors during fittings to check that all dresses from HQ are flawless and client-ready.
Teaming Up:
Working with the workshop manager or store director to keep all alterations organized and prioritized.
Finishing Touches:
Pressing and steaming dresses so they look picture-perfect for delivery. Ready for the
Spotlight:
Making sure every gown is perfectly prepped and ready to wow at delivery.
What we need from you:
Experience, Experience, Experience! You know your way around sewing machines like flatbeds, overlockers, and sergers¡, no problem. Eye for
Detail:
Buttons, zippers, boning, and other trimmings? You can fix, replace, or add those with style and care.
Fashion Know-How:
You've got formal training in fashion design, tailoring, or pattern making.
Bridal & Evening Wear Experience:
If you've worked with bridal or evening gowns before, that's a big bonus!
