Job Description

Jewel-Craft, Inc. is a full-service jewelry operation dedicated to repairing, manufacturing, and restoring jewelry. Our modern manufacturing and repair facility is fully equipped with state-of-the-art welding and casting equipment. Bench Jeweler Setting Specialist The Stone Setting Specialist is responsible for securely setting diamonds, gemstones, and other precious stones into a variety of jewelry pieces while maintaining the highest standards of craftsmanship and quality. The Setting Specialist plays a vital role in producing high-quality jewelry repairs and custom pieces that meet customer expectations and company standards.
Shift :
7AM Day shift (Monday-Friday) with Saturdays & OT when needed. Moving out time dependent on production. Get an opportunity to work with unique items each day creating and restoring beautiful pieces of jewelry. Developing your jewelry skills into refined craftsmanship allows for daily improvement and pride in your work.
Role Responsibilities:
Sets precious stones into rings, earrings, pendants, bracelets, and other jewelry using appropriate setting techniques. Inspects jewelry and gemstones prior to setting to identify potential issues and ensure all components are suitable for repair or production. Uses specialized hand tools, microscopes, and precision equipment to complete stone setting work accurately and efficiently. Ensures stones are securely mounted, properly aligned, and free from damage or defects upon completion. Performs minor finishing work as needed to prepare jewelry for final inspection or the next stage of production. Maintains the integrity and appearance of customer jewelry by exercising extreme care during all stages of the setting process. Collaborates with jewelers, polishers, and other production team members to ensure timely completion of customer orders. Performs all other duties as assigned. Pay:
$18.00 - $25.00 per hour
