We're looking for an experienced Bench Jeweler / Goldsmith who takes genuine pride in craftsmanship and enjoys variety at the bench. This is not a position where you'll be doing the same task day after day. You'll have the opportunity to work on repairs, stone setting, fabrication, custom pieces, restorations, and everything in between. We're looking for someone who has a solid foundation of repair experience, strong stone-setting skills, and the confidence to tackle new challenges. Just as importantly, we want someone who is curious, adaptable, collaborative, and still excited to learn. What You'll Do Perform a variety of jewelry repairs and restoration work. Complete ring sizing, including sizing tips and half-shank work. Perform stone setting, with strong stone-setting skills highly preferred. Handle soldering, fabrication, and assembly of jewelry components. Work with gold, silver, and platinum. Complete polishing, cleaning, finishing, and rhodium plating. Work on custom jewelry projects and repairs from start to finish. Adapt to changing priorities and a variety of projects at the bench. Maintain consistent quality, craftsmanship, and attention to detail. Keep your bench and work area clean, organized, and efficient. Work collaboratively with the shop manager and other jewelers. Share knowledge, techniques, and ideas with teammates when appropriate. Communicate openly about repairs, projects, challenges, and solutions. What We're Looking For 2-5+ years of professional bench jewelry experience. Strong repair experience; this is not an entry-level training position. Stone-setting experience is highly desirable. Experience with fabrication and soldering. Comfortable working with gold, silver, and platinum. Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship. Able to move comfortably between different types of projects and tasks. A flexible, team-oriented approach to the work. Open to learning new techniques and expanding your skill set. Comfortable receiving and applying feedback. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Dependable, organized, and committed to quality and timeliness.
