You must already understand commercial and residential door hardware, parts, and job flow. You will be responsible for quoting jobs, sourcing correct parts, and supporting/managing technicians in the field. Requires strong computer skills. You must be comfortable working in multiple software systems. This role is designed for a senior locksmith who wants to move into operations and business management. Growth into higher compensation and leadership is based on performance. Core Responsibilities Operations Manage daily operations of a retail location Assist walk-in customers with keys, locks, and hardware Manage inventory, restocking, and vendor ordering Receive, organize, and stage incoming parts and jobs Maintain clean, organized shop and accurate stock levels Support technicians with parts and job prep Management of personel Estimating & Sales Write accurate locksmith estimates Communicate with customers the value of our services over those of competitors Identify correct parts for each job Follow up on open estimates and close sales Review work orders and confirm scope before dispatch Coordination Coordinate daily with technicians to prevent delays Maintain organized job records and communication Computer Requirements Strong computer skills required Comfortable working in multiple software systems daily Ability to troubleshoot basic software and workflow issues Experience managing data, orders, and job information Experience using job dispatch software Technical Requirements Strong locksmith experience: commercial, residential, auto and safes Ability to identify and source parts quickly and accurately Experience working in or managing a locksmith shop or similar environment Strong organization, communication, and follow-through Preferred Experience Background in sales of locksmith services Experience with inventory management and vendor ordering What This Role Owns Shop organization and inventory accuracy Correct parts ordered and staging for jobs Technician efficiency and job readiness Follow-up on estimates and sales Compensation Base salary: $65,000-$75,000 Performance incentives tied to sales and job accuracy Top performers earn $75,000-$85,000+ Benefits 2 to 4 weeks paid time off 50% employer-paid healthcare Dental coverage 401K with company matching Send your resume and include a short note describing: Your locksmith experience Your experience working in a shop or managing inventory Your experience writing estimates and ordering parts Important This role requires equal strength in locksmith knowledge and computer-based job management.
