Overview We are seeking a dedicated Locksmith Technician to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service while performing a variety of locksmith and security system tasks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling walk-in customers, troubleshooting physical security systems, and maintaining equipment. As a Locksmith Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients through expert lock and key services, as well as assisting with scheduling and administrative duties. Responsibilities Assist walk-in customers with lock rekeying, key cutting, and programming car keys. Troubleshoot and repair physical security systems to ensure proper functionality. Perform equipment troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues efficiently. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs professionally and promptly. Answer phones, schedule appointments, and coordinate service calls to ensure smooth operations. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored. Follow safety protocols and industry standards during all service procedures. Qualifications Previous experience or training in locksmith services or related fields is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Basic understanding of physical security systems and troubleshooting techniques. Ability to handle equipment troubleshooting and perform precise lock rekeying and key cutting tasks. Good organizational skills with the ability to manage scheduling and administrative responsibilities. Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting, bending, and working in various environments. Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to providing high-quality service.
